The young men who participate in the janj - a marriage party in the Pushtan tradition, inspired this menswear range. The party serves as a prelude to naksha or target shooting in some far remote Afghan mountain village.

The range featured a contemporary take on ethnic Pushtun menswear pieces such as 'baggies', turbans, wraps and vests, worn with sandals and a pile of wooden beads to mimick prayer beads.

Accessories used ranged from wraps that were embelished with coins and beads, Chitral caps, knitted caps, vests and wooden beads.

Earth-tone colours, in creams, browns, greys and reds, are used in this collection.

Wool fleece, printed mesh, cottons, linens and ribbed-elastane, are some of the fabrics used.

Some t-shirts had a balaclava-like styling, paired with leggings, tunics and 'baggies'. A 'layered-look' is archived in some cases!
